THE MARLOWE Studio is to play host to two very different children's shows.

Hansel And Gretel is brought to the Canterbury venue by Horse + Bamboo Theatre Company, who have been making and touring high-quality theatre for more than 30 years.

Music, film, puppet and masks are used to tell the traditional tale with Horse + Bamboo's own twist. It is recommended for those aged five and over.

Don't Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus (for those aged three and over) is a lively show full of fun and feathers, and features original music and lots of audience participation.

Author Mo Willems has won six Emmy Awards as a writer and animator for Sesame Street and is the creator of The Cartoon Network's hit shows Sheep In The Big City and Codename: Kids Next Door.

Hansel And Gretel is at The Marlowe Studio at 11am and 3pm on Saturday 31 January. Don't Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus is at 11am and 3pm on Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 February (half term). Tickets for both shows are £8.50 (concessions available) from the Box Office on 01227 787787 or marlowetheatre.com.
