On Friday, April 5, Tony and Grammy-winning superstar Bette Midler returns to Broadway for the first time in 30 years in the the new, one-character play I'LL EAT YOU LAST: A CHAT WITH SUE MENGERS. Following a national tour, JEKYLL & HYDE starring Constantine Maroulis and Deborah Cox, begins previews on April 5. On Sunday, April 7, Tony and Olivier Award winner Alan Cumming brings his one-man adaptation of MACBETH to the Great White Way while LUCKY GUY and KINKY BOOTS take their official bows tonight, April 1, and April 4, respectively. Fiona Shaw reunites with director Deborah Warner to present THE TESTAMENT OF MARY which also begins previews tomorrow. Cicely Tyson, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Vanessa Williams lead Horton Foote's THE TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL starting Saturday March 30. It's a dream week for theater-goers! The Great White Way is abuzz with a slew of new shows. The world-premiere production of THE ASSEMBLED PARTIES takes to the stage on Thursday, March 21, giving us a glimpse into the rocky world of family dynamics led by a powerhouse cast which includes Jessica Hecht, Judith Light and Jeremy Shamos. Nathan Lane returns to Broadway in the burlesque-era THE NANCE in previews as of 3/21 and on Friday, March 22, previews begin for Clifford Odets' tale of morality THE BIG KNIFE directed by Tony Award-winner Doug Hughes and starring Emmy & Tony Award winner Bobby Cannavale as Charlie Castle. Not to be missed, there's magic to be done as PIPPIN takes to the stage on 3/23!
