Second Season of Burlesque RISQUE REVUE Opens at Slide on 8/6

This Wednesday August 6th Sydney's #1 Burlesque, Risqué Revue opens for a second season! Slide has teamed up with Fashion TV Australia, F.Vokda, Bauhaus Hair and Beauty, and La Biosthetique for Opening Night. As part of the VIP guest list which includes Marcia Hines, Channel TEN's Wonderland cast, THE VOICE's Elly Oh and Frank Lakoudis, 8 lucky competition winners will spend a night as VIP's at our Red Carpet opening night performance.

Taking inspiration from the European tradition of neo-burlesque, and under the expert guidance of Director/Choreographer James Taylor (Royal Ballet, Sydney Dance Company), Risqué Revue is an intoxicating production set in the heart of Paris.

The indulgent 3 course dinner and show features nouveau burlesque, state of the art lighting effects, exquisite costuming, audacious aerial routines, sensual ballet, erotic shadow projection, live vocals, and a blazingly sexy soundtrack.

Told in 2 acts, the Risqué Revue stars 5 multi-skilled female performers who each bring a seductive power to their roles that demand not just unique talent and beauty, but also an uncompromising physical aesthetic.

Rounding out the incredible cast, and bringing a spark of masculine energy to the show is Brendan Irving. Fresh from the Australian national tour of The Rocky Horror Show playing the super buff Rocky.

Sydney's #1 Burlesque just got a whole lot hotter! Slide has announced a massive media event on Wednesday 6th August with a red carpet and F Vodka cocktails. The stellar show will run every Wednesday night from 7pm with a 3 course dinner included in the ticket.

Slide is located at 41 Oxford Street, Darlinghurst 2010. Tickets are $89 for 3 Course Dinner and Show on ground floor, VIP Mezzanine lounge entry by invite only.
