An afternoon of drama and virtuosity begins with Rossini’s irresistible and well-loved opera overture. The playful textures of Milhaud’s percussion concerto, performed by SBSO Principal Percussionist Kent Barnhart, are sure to enchant, while joy and laughter abound in one of Haydn’s final symphonies.
