Keep Memory Alive's 23rd annual Power of Love® gala at MGM Grand Garden Arena on Saturday, March 16, brought top artists and cultural icons Shania Twain, Snoop Dogg, Anthony Anderson, NE-YO, Anthony Mackie, Miguel, Leona Lewis, Bernie Williams, John O'Hurley, Pedro Capó, Greg Phillinganes, Peta Murgatroyd, and more together to honor music legend Lionel Richie and raise crucial funds and awareness for Cleveland Clinic Nevada.

Legendary Broadway and cabaret luminary, LANE BRADBURY, was interviewed by Foster Hirsch at THE LAMBS about her storied career that included tales of Bette Davis, Tennessee Williams, Ethel Merman, Patrick Hingle, Jerome Robbins, Raymond Massie, Jack Klugman, Julie Harris, June Havoc, Christopher Plummer ... and Elia Kazan.

First Floor Theater (FFT) is thrilled to announce its third annual literary festival, KAFKAPALOOZA, a festival of nine world premiere plays, by some of Chicago's most exciting playwrights, inspired by the life and work of Franz Kafka. Over the past two years, the FFT LitFest has brought together some of Chicago's greatest writers, including Seth Bockley, Philip Dawkins, Bonnie Metzgar, Ike Holter, Morgan McNaught, andPaul Oakley Stovall, to respond to literary greats The Brothers Grimm and Mark Twain.

Laurel Valley Productions in association with Creative Arts Lab and Jeux de Mots presents TRAVELING PAPERS, a lively theatrical adventure exploring our connections to travel, conceived and adapted by Barbara Bosch and Martin Tackel. Barbara Bosch^ directs a cast of eight including Gwen Arment*, John Camera*, Kyle Doherty, Gwen Eyster, Peter Husovsky*, Macy Idzakovich, and Jillian Stevens. TRAVELING PAPERS will run at The Lion Theatre on Theatre Row, 410 West 42nd Street (bet. 9th and 10th Avenues), New York City for fifteen performances, tonight, June 3, through June 20, 2015. First Floor Theater has announced its Second Annual LitFest, TWAIN'S WORLD, a kaleidoscope of new work inspired by the life and work of one of America's greatest writers. Last year's GrimmFest brought together some of Chicago's most exciting writers and directors, including Bonnie Metzgar, Seth Bockley, Philip Dawkins and Greg Allen. Given the choice of three classic authors, the attendees of this year's annual season kick-off party selected Mark Twain. This moved an exciting, diverse group of playwrights to bring their voice to a conversation around themes in Twain's work, like establishing a new American identity, racism, and the satirization of civilized society. This year's fest promises a full range of adaptation, with everything from page-to-stage to a shadow puppet musical. The press opening is tonight, Friday, July 11, 2014 at 8 pm. Hal Holbrook performed his well known show, 'Mark Twain Tonight,' at the Mayo Center for Performing Arts in Morristown New Jersey and the audience was captivated.

Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown, New Jersey features a variety of shows throughout the month of April.

If 'Adam's Rib' and 'Moneyball' mated and begat a play, it might be 'Skybox,' a comedy of class warfare and the battle of the sexes that is set in the luxury box of a major league baseball park. The play, written by Walt Stepp and directed by Lissa Moira, is the successor to their collaboration on 'Siren's Heart: Norma Jean and Marilyn in Purgatory,' a play by Stepp which started at Theater for the New City and is now running Off-Broadway at the Actors Temple Theatre. 'Skybox' has been extended at Theater for the New City through December 9, 2012. Get a first look at the show in the photos below!

'Who would have thought that a young boy from Weymouth would become part of such a large family of vagabonds,' remarked Hal Holbrook about the actors and industry professionals that gathered to honor him at the 15th annual TONY Award party in Los Angeles. 'Not all of us have been lucky enough to make a steady income from this profession we love so much. It's nice to know an organization such as the Actors Fund exists to watch our backs, while we concentrate on using our craft to make the world a richer place to live,' added Holbrook just after friend and colleague, Sean Penn, presented the accomplished thespian with the Julie Harris Award. Penn, who directed Holbrook in 'Into The Wild,' said 'Hal always got it in the first take, but you wanted him to do it again, just so you could watch him work.'
