Hideki Noda's powerfully dynamic, physically demanding, utterly engaging and thoroughly entertaining works have been seen across the world's stage and now he returns to one of the most significant homes of the underground theatre movement in NYC -- The Ellen Stewart Theater at La MaMa -- in One Green Bottle, playing from February 29-March 8th. The three-person gender-swapping show puts an absurdist spin on the current self-driven, self-obsessed 'selfie' society. One Green Bottle is unmissable, uproariously hysterical and absolutely delightful with depth that lingers long after the last 'one green bottle should accidentally fall...' as the song goes.

With curtains billowing so gently our eyes almost felt tricked, Forever Yours, Julita lured a small but enthusiastic audience into the story of Puerto Rican poets Luis Llor?ns Torres and Julia de Burgos at the play's Tallahassee premiere on January 25.

On Wednesday, July 9, 2014, the Police Athletic League celebrated 100 years of PAL with the opening of the 2014 Summer Playstreets Program. Hundreds of children gathered on a PAL Playstreet at West 151st in Manhattan to play classic street games including marbles, skelly, hopscotch, traditional Double Dutch jump rope, Nok Hockey and the NYPD provided a portable rock climbing wall. MY MOTHER'S KEEPER, written by Jane Press and directed by Robin McKee, is a highly autobiographical memory play that moves fluidly back and forth between 1914 when an event involving Press' great-grandmother sets off a cycle of damage and dysfunction, and the present. While the humor of this play may be Jewish, the experience of being part of a big, crazy family is universal.

Today, 9 July, Paul Bigley (Man) joins other cast members Andrew Alexander (Richard Hannay), Catherine Bailey (Pamela/Annabella/Margaret) and Stephen Critchlow (Man) in the hilarious, multi award-winning comedy, The 39 Steps.

Under the direction of Theater Latté Da artistic director Peter Rothstein, the production features a score by Tony Award nominee Jeanine Tesori, the composer whose music brought Tony Kushner's book and lyrics for Caroline, or Change to life.

Goodman Theatre Artistic Director Robert Falls and renowned actor Brian Dennehy bring their artistic partnership to new heights with Eugene O'Neill's haunting drama, Desire Under the Elms?marking their fifth collaboration on O'Neill's work over two decades. Falls' cast includes stage and screen stars Carla Gugino (Entourage, Spy Kids, Sin City) Pablo Schreiber (Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Awake and Sing!), Boris McGiver (The Wire) and Daniel Stewart Sherman (Broadway's Cyrano de Bergerac). The centerpiece production of Goodman Theatre's two-month 'A Global Exploration: Eugene O'Neill in the 21st Century,' Desire Under the Elms appears January 17 ?
