Clowning around in rehearsal with Stephen Spurling's 'Death Of A Shoe Salesman' which opens this week at the New York Theatre Festival. Cast and crew work out some clown technique, physical comedy skills, timing and improv during their final rehearsals before heading into the theatre on Thursday!

There's something humorous brewing in Lawrenceville! David Lindsay-Abaire's laugh-out-loud comedy, Ripcord is set to round out Aurora Theatre's 2017-2018 season, May 10-June 3, 2018. Audiences will follow the territory battle between Abby and Marilyn, roommates at a senior living facility with clashing personalities, and the hilarity that ensues when the tumultuous pair pushes the envelope to win a seemingly harmless wager.

Comprised of 10 short plays in 2 acts about the follies and foibles of love and lovers, LOVE ALLWAYS addresses the subjects of love and romance which have long provided great source material for comedy, created from the pens of two proven masters of American comedy. With busy careers in film, television and Broadway, Taylor and Bologna have defied the Hollywood odds with a marriage that's lasted 51 years (so far). And no doubt, many of the relationship stories shared must be of a very personal nature to them, or perhaps some of their closest friends!

Opera Australia's interpretation of Sergei Prokofief's THE LOVE FOR THREE ORANGES returns to delight and entrance Sydney audiences. An explosion of colour, light, and fabulous physicality, this work breaks the mould of traditional opera with animated, accessible music and clever lyrics.

Osip Theatre presents Celebrity Night at Café Red, written and directed by Lily Bevan, at Trafalgar Studios 2, now through 6 October, 2012. Celebrity Night at Café Red is being co-produced by Osip Theatre and Lucy Pattison, with assistant direction from Hamish MacDougall, lighting design by Christopher Nairne, sound design by Emma Laxton, set design by Giuseppe Belli and costume design by Emma Belli. La MaMa presents the New York Premiere of That Beautiful Laugh, the inaugural theatrical production by The Artigiani Troupe. That Beautiful Laugh, a clown show conceived and directed by Obie Award Winner Orlando Pabotoy, stars Alan Tudyk, Julia Ogilvie and Carlton Ward, and is part of La MaMa's 50th Anniversary season. The production runs from March 16 - 25, 2012 in a limited engagement at The Club at La MaMa, located at 74A East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and the Bowery in New York City.

Clowns Full-Tilt: A Musing on Aesthetics runs from November 4 - 20, 2011 in a limited engagement at La MaMa's First Floor Theatre, located at 74A East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue & the Bowery in New York City. Previews began November 4 for a November 5 opening; the show plays through November 20.
