Confirmed: Matthew Fox & Olivia Williams to Star in Premiere of new LaBute Play

Variety reports that LOST star Matthew Fox and THE GHOST WRITER's Olivia Williams will star in the world premiere production of Neil LaBute's IN A FOREST, DARK AND DEEP. LaBute will direct the production as well which is set to begin previews at the West End Vaudeville theater on March 3, 2010 before opening on March 14, 2010. Dane Cook & Josh Hamilton Bring FAT PIG to Broadway in 2011; LaBute Directs

Comedy superstar and actor Dane Cook will make his Broadway debut this spring in the first Broadway production of Neil LaBute's FAT PIG at a theatre TBD. Cook will be joined by stage, film, and television actor Josh Hamilton (The Coast of Utopia, Away We Go). LaBute will make his Broadway directorial debut with the play, which he also directed in 2008 in the play's acclaimed London premiere, receiving an Olivier Award nomination for Best New Comedy. The Broadway Cast - led by Hannah Yelland and Tristan Sturrock - will appear in the internationally celebrated Kneehigh production of Noel Coward's Brief Encounter, which will have a 43-performance limited engagement at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts February 15 to March 23, 2014 (press opening February 19). Yelland and Sturrock are joined by fellow New York cast members Joe Alessi, Dorothy Atkinson, Damon Daunno, and Annette Laughlin. Lincoln Center Announces MOSTLY MOZART FESTIVAL 2014, 7/25-8/23

Jane Moss, Ehrenkranz Artistic Director, today announced the 48th season of Lincoln Center's Mostly Mozart Festival, New York's acclaimed annual summer celebration of classical music, which runs from July 25-August 23, 2014. This year's Festival will feature more than 35 events across several venues including concerts, opera, dance, pre-concert recitals and lectures, late-night performances, contemporary music, and premieres of two commissioned works. The Festival kicks off with two free events: the world premiere of a new work by John Luther Adams, performed July 25 and 26 for free on Hearst Plaza, in a joint presentation with Lincoln Center Out of Doors, and continuing an annual tradition, the free preview concert by the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra at Avery Fisher Hall on July 26. Renee and Robert Belfer Music Director Louis Langree returns for his 12th season to conduct the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra, which will perform a wide range of works anchored by the Festival's featured namesake. Mostly Mozart will also present world-renowned artists and returning Festival favorites, such as violinist Joshua Bell, Mark Morris Dance Group, Emerson String Quartet and Artists-in-Residence International Contemporary Ensemble, as well as 14 Festival debuts, including pianists Yuja Wang and Steven Osborne, and violinist Patricia Kopatchinskaja.
