59E59 Theaters (Elysabeth Kleinhans, Artistic Director; Peter Tear, Executive Producer; Brian Beirne, Managing Director) is thrilled to host the US premiere of CAFE SOCIETY SWING, written by Alex Webb and directed by Simon Green. Produced by Richard Darbourne Ltd (producer of last season's Drama League nominated All That Fall) and The Copasetic Foundation, CAFE SOCIETY SWING begins performances on Tuesday, December 16 for a limited engagement through Sunday, January 4. Opening Night is Sunday, December 21 at 7 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7 PM; Friday at 8 PM; Saturday at 2 PM & 8 PM; Sunday at 3 PM & 7 PM. Please note the following Holiday schedule adjustments: There is no performance on Thursday, December 25; there is an added performance on Friday, December 26 at 2 PM; the performances on December 24 and December 31 are at 6 PM. Dreamcatcher Repertory Theatre, professional Theatre in Residence at the Oakes Center in Summit presents the musical group Marquee Five in their new cabaret performance, Back Porch Swing. Marquee Five has been called 'The Manhattan Transfer for the new Millennium' and will appear at Dreamcatcher on Friday, November 21 at 8 pm and Sunday, November 23 at 2 pm.

Propaganda Swing is a co-production between the Belgrade Theatre and Nottingham Playhouse Theatre Company and is written by Peter Arnott. The writing is based upon a true story at the commencement of World War II in Berlin. Billy Constant, an American CBS journalist, narrates the proceedings and is heavily revolved around his love for German jazz singer, Lala Anderson. Lala is part of a jazz band whom are forced to conform to music approved by Hitler against their will.

The Belgrade Theatre has announced full details of its new Autumn 2014 Season which will see Hamish Glen direct a brand new co-production of Peter Arnott's gripping WWII drama Propaganda Swing, premiering at the Belgrade this September. This will be followed by the return of Bob Eaton's smash-hit 2 Tone musical Three Minute Heroes in October and the Belgrade's annual pantomime, which this year is Aladdin. The Belgrade will also be re-instating its popular B2 Xmas Show Oh No It Isn't.
