Northern Stage (formerly Newcastle Playhouse) and Sheffield Theatres today announce their first collaboration, a new production of Edward Albee's "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?". The production will be directed by Northern Stage's Artistic Director Erica Whyman. "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" will play at Sheffield's Crucible Theatre (Wednesday 16 March - Thursday 7 April) and then continue to Northern Stage (Tuesday 12 April - Saturday 30 April).

The Concert Operetta Theater will open its 9th season with a concert, Remembering Romberg! honoring the great American composer. Philadelphian Michael Presser, founder of New York City's leading Broadway non-profit organization Inside Broadway will be the guest narrator.

The American Airlines Theater will host a memorial celebration for the late Jerry Bock for family, friends and fans at 2:30pm on January 24, 2011. Bock's main lyricist, Sheldon Harnick will host the event, which will include appearances by Chita Rivera, Lonny Price, Hal Prince, Todd Haimes and more. The memorial will also include performances of Bock's most celebrated songs and accompanying commentary by original cast members of his shows. Larry Yurman will musical direct. Seating is open to the public and available on a first come, first served basis and doors open at 2pm.

On view will be many of the Metropolitan's greatest photographic treasures from the 1900s to 1920s, including Stieglitz's famous portraits of Georgia O'Keeffe, Steichen's large colored photographs of the Flatiron building, and Strand's pioneering abstractions. The exhibition is made possible in part by Joseph M. Cohen.

Florida Stage opens its 24th season with the new mystery 'Cane,' written by Andrew Rosendorf. Cane represents the first in a collection of plays being commissioned by Florida Stage about issues central to the state of Florida (The Florida Cycle).
