Night after night, audiences are having the time of their lives at MAMMA MIA!. Catherine Johnson's sunny, funny story of love, laughter and friendship has been thrilling London audiences for over 10 years. More recently it became the biggest British hit movie of all time when the three women who created the worldwide stage smash hit adapted it for the silver screen.

Inspired by the storytelling magic of ABBA's songs, from "Dancing Queen" and "Take A Chance On Me" to "Super Trouper" and "Thank You For The Music," MAMMA MIA!'s enchanting tale of family and friendship unfolds on a Greek Island paradise. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother's past to the island they last visited 20 years ago.

Over 40 million people worldwide have been dancing in the aisles to this sensational musical, and London is where it all began back in 1999. So who will you bring to experience the joy and exhilaration of MAMMA MIA! with you?

BWW Review: MAMMA MIA! Brings A Refreshing New Look To A Classic Musical
by Alyson Eng - May 20, 2018

With its well-known songs such as 'Honey Honey' and 'Dancing Queen,' the beloved story of Sophie Sheridan, her mother Donna, and Sophie's 3 possible fathers: Sam, Harry, and Bill brought many laughs and warmed the hearts of audience members during Mamma Mia's opening night at the Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage in Vancouver. The hit musical featuring the songs of ABBA will continue its run until August 12th. As many are familiar with the movie adaptation of the musical from 2008 starring Amanda Seyfried and Meryl Streep and are excited for the movie's sequel, Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again, this stage production of Mamma Mia from the Vancouver Arts Club couldn't have come at a better time.

Following the huge success of the previous 'relaxed performance' of Mamma Mia! in 2013, the show's producers and Mousetrap Theatre Projects (MTP) have decided to present a second 'relaxed performance' of the smash hit musical Mamma Mia! at 6pm on Wednesday 16 November at London's Novello Theatre. The performance will be for families with one or more children with special needs. Relaxed performances are designed to provide an opportunity for people with autism, learning difficulties or other sensory and communication needs who require a more relaxed environment. MTP's long-term goal is to see regular relaxed performances in the West End. The Society of London Theatre (SOLT) is a great supporter of this project and both MTP and SOLT are working hard to try to ensure that relaxed performances become a familiar fixture in the theatre diary.
