A stunning wedding collar made from luxurious leather and diamonds has gone missing, and it's up to a doggie detective duo to find out what happened before the special event is ruined. They're under the gun because they only have three days to do so. A new children's book released by Dog Ear Publishing follows the story of the canine sleuths who are on the case.
When Monique Potter, a poodle, discovers her collar missing from her nightstand, she can't stop crying because she hoped to wear it during her wedding three days later. Although her parents call the German shepherd police, they also place a call to a special detective agency run by Bradley and Mr. Quick, dogs who they hope can find the stolen collar quickly.
The detectives - and the police - don't know the necklace was taken by Dollar and his partner Cash, who had been engaged to Monique until she broke it off to become acquainted with Edward, who she said 'Yes' to a year later. Cash claims he took the collar just to tell Monique to delay her wedding, but once a con dog, always a con dog. Can Bradley and Mr. Quick find the collar in time or will the Potters be forced to delay the ceremony their daughter has always dreamed of?
'Bradley and Mr. Quick the Canine Duo: In Search of the Wedding Collar,' a short chapter book, is full of colorful canine characters from an eavesdropping alley cat to beautiful waitresses, impatient fathers and crusty bulldog witnesses. Readers step into the world of doggie detectives with a front-row seat to the action and adventure.

Greece's most prominent film director of the post-1968 era, Theo Angelopoulos (1935–2012) was a master cinema stylist. His investigations into history and politics, tyranny and resistance, and spiritual anomie and emotional devastation place him on equal footing with filmmakers like Andrei Tarkovsky, Bernardo Bertolucci, and Wim Wenders. Today, at a time when Greece has struggled with impending economic collapse, and as the country's refugee crisis has worsened, with displaced populations fleeing war in the Middle East and massing on its borders, the themes of Angelopoulos's cinema are pressing once again. Museum of the Moving Image will present Eternity and History: The Cinema of Theo Angelopoulos, a complete retrospective of the director's career—the first in the United States in 25 years—from July 8 through 24, 2016. The retrospective will also be presented at the Harvard Film Archive in Cambridge, Massachusetts, from July 15 through August 22. The presentation of the retrospective at Museum of the Moving Image was made possible with support from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation and the Hellenic American Chamber of Commerce.
