Following their hugely successful collaboration on Shakespeare's VENUS AND ADONIS in 2004 and 2007, Little Angel Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company are co-presenting THE TEMPEST for audiences aged 7 and up. This shortened version has been edited by Peter Glanville and Phil Porter.

Grammy and Emmy Award winner, Tony Award nominee and multi-platinum recording artist Harry Connick, Jr. will star in a reimagined production of ON A CLEAR DAY YOU CAN SEE FOREVER opening fall 2011 on Broadway at a theatre to be announced. The delightful Tony Award nominated score by Burton Lane (music) and Alan Jay Lerner (lyrics) is enhanced by classics from their film scores for On A Clear Day You Can See Forever (1970) and Royal Wedding (1951). With a new book by Peter Parnell based on the original book by Alan Jay Lerner, the musical is reconceived and directed by Tony Award winner Michael Mayer. A dark, supernatural odyssey set over one night in the city, TERMINUS will fully satisfy the appetite of theatre lovers through excellent acting and rich text. Performances by the Abbey Theatre, the national theatre of Ireland, are part of a seven-city U.S. tour celebrating the Abbey's 100th anniversary of touring in America. Tupperware Queen Dee W. Ieye Gives Rare Interview to BWW

Born in a little town outside Lynchburg, Tennessee Dee W. Ieye was the sole heir to the Jack Daniel's fortune. She began her circuit of beauty pageants at a young age and eventually found herself out here in L.A. competing for the crown in Aid for Aids Best in 'drag' show in 2004. Taking her new found fame from that competition, Dee stepped into the role of Tupperware Lady in 2005, doing in home party demonstrations of Tupperware's classic food storage containers. It wasn't long before Dee became the # 1 Personal Seller of Tupperware products in the Nation. For 3 years she has held that title of # 1 in personal sales and is on her way to find out if it's year # 4 in Orlando next week at the big Tupperware convention. Not only is Dee busy with her party demonstrations, she is also very active in the community doing personal appearances, MC -ing events, private parties and fundraising. She's best known for her charitable works with raising money for Aids Services Orange County and their affiliate Friends of Dorothy. Each year 4 events are held where money is raised directly to support those in Orange County living with HIV / AIDS.

Pasadena Playhouse (Sheldon Epps, Artistic Director and Stephen Eich, Executive Director) announced today that its new play development program, HOTHOUSE AT THE PLAYHOUSE, resumes this fall and will be produced in collaboration with Furious Theatre Company (Pasadena Playhouse's Artists in Residency since 2004). Furious co-founder Dámaso Rodriguez will head the HOTHOUSE program and is set to direct the fall 2010 season's first reading The Confessions of Deacon Jim by Jason Aaron Goldberg on October 28-29, 2010 at Pasadena Playhouse's Carrie Hamilton Theatre (39 South El Molino). The reading will feature Eric Close (CBS's 'Without a Trace') and Jonathan Tucker (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre).
