BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Ghostlight Records will release the New Broadway Cast Recording for Roger O. Hirson and Stephen Schwartz's beloved coming-of-age musical comedy Pippin, which is now playing at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street), on June 4 (digitally) and July 9 (in stores). The album will be co-produced by composer Stephen Schwartz and Kurt Deutsch, and executive produced by Howard & Janet Kagan.

The acclaimed Broadway production of Pippin and Ghostlight Records invited fans to sing on the brand new Broadway cast recording. 'My fiance came and woke me up and told me. He said 'Well, we're going to the Tony Awards!'. And then my manager called me right after. This means everything. From the creative team to cast and crew, we all put our hearts and souls into reinventing the show and telling it our way, and it feels so great to be a part of it. It's so amazing. I'm going to get a vocal massage today and then work out and then I'll have a celebratory lunch with my manager- and then of course the show tonight! We are having the time of our live and the reception has been so great, and now it will continue. This is just something extra.'
