Featuring music and new lyrics by acclaimed Broadway composer Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin) and original concept and direction by John-Michael Tebelak, GODSPELL is directed by Daniel Goldstein and choreographed by Tony Award nominee Christopher Gattelli (South Pacific).
GODSPELL originally ran for more than 2,600 performances in New York and spawned successful touring productions in major U.S. cities, a 1973 motion picture adaptation and countless international engagements for the past 40 years.
GODSPELL is now in performances at Broadway's Circle in the Square Theatre (1633 Broadway at 50th Street).

Broadway star, Shoshana Bean, takes the audience on a journey through the Streisand Songbook. From classic to contemporary, the show features her own interpretations of standards like 'Cry Me A River,' 'On A Clear Day' and 'Don't Rain on My Parade.' Like her idol Streisand, Shoshana began her career in New York in the off-Broadway revival of Godspell. She then went on to star in the Tony-Award winning original cast of Hairspray and eventually replaced Idina Menzel as Elphaba in Broadway's Wicked. 'From Broadway With Love: A Benefit Concert For Sandy Hook' took place yesterday, January 28, 2013, at the Palace Theater in Waterbury, Connecticut. The evening was a concert of love and healing for the Newtown community from the composers, musicians and more than 100 stars of Broadway together with over 100 students from several Newtown dance groups and the Newtown High School Chamber Choir. All proceeds and donations go directly to United Way of Western Connecticut's Sandy Hook School Support Fund.
