Universal Pictures Stage Productions, Working Title Films and Old Vic Productions in association with Weinstein Live Entertainment are thrilled to announce, with Broadway In Chicago that Billy Elliot the Musical, currently playing at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre (24 W. Randolph), is extending its run in Chicago by fifteen weeks through October 24, 2010.

Billy Elliot the Musical's Chicago opening night will take place April 11th. In addition, the producers, along with Broadway In Chicago, are excited to announce that $25 rush seats will be available for every performance.

Last Night, 31 March 2010, Billy Elliot the Musical celebrated its fifth birthday in London's West End. Joining the current London cast to celebrate were composer Elton John, director Stephen Daldry, writer Lee Hall, Haydn Gwynne who played the original Mrs Wilkinson and Tim Healy who played Bllly's original Dad, and 19 past, present and future Billys Elliots. Guests included David Furnish, David Walliams, Lara Stone and Alexander Lebedev.

Theatre Under The Stars' (TUTS) President and CEO John C. Breckenridge announces TUTS' 2010-2011 Sensational Season: It Shines! October 2010 through June 2011 at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts.

The critically acclaimed, internationally award-winning musical opened at the Victoria Palace Theatre in 2005 and has subsequently been seen by over 4.5 million people worldwide. As well as the current London production, Billy Elliot the Musical has performed in Sydney and Melbourne, is currently performing at the Imperial Theater on Broadway and from 18 March will begin previews at the Oriental Theatre, Chicago, with further productions due to open in Korea in August 2010, Toronto in February 2011 and Japan in 2011.
