In October, 1998, a 21 year old man was kidnapped, severely beaten and left to die in the middle of a prairie outside Laramie, Wyoming, because he was gay. His name was Matthew Shepard. Stage Door Inc. will be performing this beautiful and moving piece and has partnered with the Matthew Shepard Foundation to collect donations during the run of the show. The Laramie Project opens on the 13th Anniversary of Matthew Shepard's tragic death, Friday, October 12, 2012 and runs, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 3:00pm, through November 4, 2012. It was recently announced that EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL would be playing at The Insurgo Theater inside the Plaza, but in one short week the show has gone from that location to The V Theater inside Planet Hollywood.
