CSC's 20th season of bringing the classics to life in Cincinnati is generously sponsored by The Otto M. Budig Family Foundation. This season, CSC is proud to become one of only five theaters in the United States to 'Complete the Canon' by producing all 38 plays by William Shakespeare. 20th Anniversary Season Subscription packages went on sale February 1, 2013 and experienced a record breaking first day of sales. Never published during Nabokov's lifetime, The Tragedy of Mister Morn was translated into English by Anastasia Tolstoy (great-great-great-granddaughter of Leo Tolstoy, author of War and Peace andAnna Karenina) and British scholar Thomas Karshan. The Shakespeare Theatre's reading, featuring a prestigious cast of company members and guest artists, marks the very first time the recently translated play will be seen or heard in the United States. The show had previously been booking until 31 May 2014. Stephen Fried directs an all-Asian American cast that includes Sanjit de Silva, Mel Duane Gionson, Andrew Ramcharan Guilarte, Mia Katigbak, Teresa Avia Lim, Jon Norman Schneider, David Shih, Alok Tewari, and Henry Yuk. Working Theater, in its 29th season off-Broadway, will in collaboration with the Harold Clurman Lab Theater, offer a piercing perspective on healthcare reform in the United States, with MERCY KILLERS, written and performed by Michael Milligan. The play, directed by Tom Oppenheim will make its off-Broadway premiere on January 7th at the Stella Adler Studio's Theater 2B, 31 West 27th Street. The production will have its official opening on January 15th and will be performed in various communities throughout New York City in order to directly realize Working Theater's mission to bring theater to communities where working people live.
