Dance Lineup Announced for Lincoln Center Out of Doors 2014, Beg. 7/20

From July 20 through August 10, Lincoln Center Out of Doors will offer more than 100 free performances across the Lincoln Center campus. The 44th season of the popular summer festival features premieres and debuts, family programs and a wide range of music and dance events.

The schedule for this summer's Lincoln Center Out of Doors festival, which runs from July 20 to August 10, was announced today by Bill Bragin, Lincoln Center's Director of Public Programming. Nearly 100 free performances will take place across the plazas of Lincoln Center during three weeks. A special Memorial Concert for Pete and Toshi Seeger on July 20 will be followed by the official opening concert on July 23 with Larry Harlow's Hommy: A Latin Opera, the landmark work's first performance in 40 years. Pharrell Williams Headlines NBA All-Star Weekend Today

The National Basketball Association (NBA) has announced that Oscar-nominated musician Pharrell Williams, coming off of his multi-Grammy Award-winning night, will headline the 'Entertainment Series presented by Sean John at Macy's' during the 63rd NBA All-Star Game tonight, Feb. 16, at New Orleans Arena. The game will air live at 8 p.m. ET on TNT, ESPN Radio, and in 215 countries and territories in more than 47 languages. Recently added performers will include Jason Derulo, Aloe Blacc and Mack Wilds.

It may be the final week of Lincoln Center Out of Doors, but the festival isn't winding down when it comes to exciting performances. This week, Lincoln Center celebrates the 40th Anniversary of the landmark Soul at the Center, highlighted by Valerie Simpson's first tribute to her late partner, Nick Ashford, since his passing. The pair that wrote such Motown hits as "Ain't No Mountain High Enough," "Reach Out and Touch (Somebody's Hand)," and "I'm Every Woman," made their performing debut as a duo at Lincoln Center 40 years ago. The Tribute takes place on Friday, August 10 at Damrosch Park.

Acording to Deadline.com, Eddie Izzard is currently in final talks to star in and produce NBC's upcoming remake of the 1960's sitcom 'The Munsters'. The project, entitled MOCKINGBIRD LANE, is written by Bryan Fuller and directed by Bryan Singer. Izzard is the first actor who has been cast in the project.
