Utah Film Center announced today the feature films selected for the 16th annual Damn These Heels Film Festival and new elements to the Festival for film lovers, filmmakers, and all storytellers. Damn These Heels will run July 12 - 14, 2019 at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center and is a festival for all that explores LGBTQ issues, ideas, and art through independent, documentary, and foreign films from around the world. Passes and tickets are now on sale on the Utah Film Center's website. Additional titles will be announced on the website leading up to the Festival.

He's that ancient, arthritic, fragile/agile but eternally game actor who traveled by stage trunk from scene to scene throughout the longest-running musical of all time, 'The Fantasticks.' The JBFC announced today a variety of unique and compelling film series launching or re-launching this summer. TV One is celebrating Black History Month with a full slate of programming offerings that embody the theme, 'Represent the Dream.' The network also debuts a new short form video campaign featuring three-time Grammy Award and Academy Award winning artist, actor and social justice activist Common, which runs throughout the month of February. In the videos, Common discusses a variety of topics related to Black history and issues affecting the African American community: racism and how we can become a better nation; activism, the power of using 'our voice' and movements like Black Lives Matter; self-awareness, his heroes and what representing the dream means today, 55 years after Martin Luther King Jr.'s iconic 'I Have a Dream' speech.

Thriller Live, the concert spectacular at London's Lyric Theatre, which showcases his unforgettable music and dazzling choreography will see its record-breaking West End run enter its 10th year. And on February 15, the show will smash yet another West End record by becoming the 14th Longest Running Musical in History. Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap marks the welcomed return of drama to the Fulton Theater's mainstage. For far too long, the company has produced one big, splashy musical comedy after another. It is good for a theater to have some variety, something different now and then, and The Mousetrap fits the bill.

The film is called, 'WAIT FOR YOUR LAUGH' and is directed by Jason Wise and produced by Christina Wise, Jason Wise, and co-produced by Jackson Myers. To get right to the point, the documentary is utterly fantastic. But the 33 minutes and 42 seconds I spent on phone with Rose Marie will be forever unforgettable.
