Tickets for the upcoming Broadway production of George Bernard Shaw's play Mrs. Warren's Profession go on sale to the general public on July 30. The production, to be produced by the Roundabout Theatre Company, will star Tony® Award winner Cherry Jones as Kitty Warren and Golden Globe winner Sally Hawkins making her Broadway debut as Vivie Warren and will be directed by Tony® Award winner Doug Hughes at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42nd St). The cast will also feature Adam Driver as Frank Gardner, Mark Harelik as Sir George Crofts, Edward Hibbert as Mr. Praed and Michael Siberry as Reverend Samuel Gardner.

Dixon will be available at 3pm to sign copies of his new book about Buck O'Neil entitled, John 'Buck' O'Neil, The Rookie, The Man, The Legacy, 1938. The book signing will take place in the lobby of the H&R Block City Stage located on level B in Union Station at 30 W. Pershing Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64108. The book will be available for purchase at that time, as well as two other of Mr. Dixon's works: Phil Dixon's American Baseball Chronicles, Great Teams, The 1931 Homestead Grays, Volume I and Wilber 'Bullet' Rogan and the Kansas City Monarchs.

The Amore Opera Company will continue its season with a fully staged production of Lehar's romantic operetta, 'The Merry Widow.' Amore Opera will also be delivering performances for kids and the whole family, entitled 'Opera-in-Brief' of Gilbert and Sullivan's comic opera, 'The Mikado.'
