The Price is a 1968 play by Arthur Miller. It is a piece about family dynamics, the price of furniture and the price of one's decisions. The play opened on Broadway at the Morosco Theatre on February 7, 1968 where it played until the production moved to the 46th Street Theatre on November 18, 1968. The production closed on February 15, 1969 after 429 performances. The opening night cast included Harold Gary as Gregory Solomon, Pat Hingle as Victor Franz, Kate Reid as Esther Franz, and Arthur Kennedy as Walter Franz.



The Price was adapted for television in 1971, directed by Fielder Cook from a script by Miller, and broadcast as part of the Hallmark Hall of Fame on the NBC network.

Musical Theatre West is delighted to announce the principal cast for its upcoming Southern California regional premiere of The Producers. Michael Kostroff, best known as Maurice Levy in the HBO series The Wire will play conniving theatrical producer Max Bialystock. Michael traveled the U.S. in the first national tour of The Producers, playing twelve roles a night and understudying both Max Bialystock and Roger De Bris, and toured again in Les Mis?rables, as the comically evil innkeeper, Monsieur Th?nardier.

White, adapted for the stage by Marsha Norman, with music by Jason Robert Brown, and direction by Gary Griffin. The production features a 35-piece orchestra conducted by Jason Robert Brown. Trumpet of the Swan: A Novel Symphony is part of a season-long initiative Broadway: The Third Generation, celebrating the current generation of Broadway musical composers, and will appear for five performances in the Eisenhower Theater December 4-6, 2008. The theatrical adaptation is recommended for audiences aged seven and up.
