Tickets are $20 and are available at www.smarttix.com, 212-868-4444. This is the first time that THE TIDINGS BROUGHT TO MARY has been seen in NYC since the Broadway premiere in 1922 / 1923. Set in 15th century France, Paul Claudel's THE TIDINGS BROUGHT TO MARY is a mystery play that follows the tale of two sisters, one dedicated to the spirit and the other to the flesh.

Hayworth Theatre to Present World Premiere of 'Lovelace' 10/18

The Hayworth Theatre, in association with Roz Bernstein Productions, will present the world debut of 'Lovelace: A Rock Opera,' on October 18, 2008. The new show, recounting the life and times of legendary adult film superstar Linda Lovelace of 'Deep Throat' fame, is based on the Book, Music and Lyrics of Charlotte Caffey (founding member of 'The Go-Go's,) and Anna Waronker (singer/songwriter, founding member of 'That Dog.,') with the Original Concept and Lyrics from Jeffery Leonard Bowman.

Ralston to Perform Songs from Solo CD at Barnes and Noble on 10/15

To celebrate her recently released debut solo CD, I'VE GOTTA GET BACK TO NEW YORK, accomplished cabaret artist and Broadway vet Teri Ralston (Company, A Little Night Music) will make two special appearances in Manhattan this fall. On Wednesday, 15 October, at 6pm, Teri will sign CD's and sing selected songs at the Lincoln Triangle Barnes & Noble Bookstore. Then, on Monday, 17 November, at 9pm, she will perform in concert at the Metropolitan Room, where I'VE GOTTA GET BACK TO NEW YORK was recorded, live, earlier this year.
