The 31st annual Palm Springs International Film Festival (PSIFF) will present Renée Zellweger with the Desert Palm Achievement Award, Actress for her performance in Judy at its annual Film Awards Gala. This is the first honoree to be announced for the Film Awards Gala scheduled for Thursday, January 2 at the Palm Springs Convention Center. The event will once again be presented by American Express, sponsored by AT&T, Entertainment Tonight and hosted by Mary Hart.

In 1967, the Summer of Love kicked-off with a two-day concert on Mt. Tamalpais called the Fantasy Fair and Magic Mountain Music Festival. Nearly 100,000 young people converged on the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood, turning the Bay Area into the epicenter of a cultural phenomenon known as the Summer of Love. During this transformative time, music, fashion, art and new ideas flourished and there was a feeling that everything was possible.

Two-time Emmy and five-time Grammy Award-nominated Michael Feinstein returns to Feinstein's at the Nikko with a special celebration of Academy Award-winning lyricists Alan and Marilyn Bergman for five performances only - May 18-22, 2016.
