Boston Court Performing Arts Center will bring another daring year of theatre and music events to Southern California to their 2018 season. Multi-award-winning and internationally recognised choreographer Yasmeen Godder will premiere her new work Face In this Autumn, commissioned by Candoco Dance Company and performed by their company of disabled and non-disabled dancers. Face In is the final commission from Stine Nilsen and Pedro Machado before they step down as Artistic Co-Directors of Candoco, as announced in January.

This innovative, high-tech adventure tells the story of a sleep-deprived single mom who struggles to work as a video game music composer. Unexpectedly, she is contacted across time by the famous polar explorer, Ernest Shackleton. Inspired by her music, he shares his epic Antarctic journey with her in video and song. Against all odds, they discover that their greatest inspiration lies within each other.

MasterVoices (formerly The Collegiate Chorale), closes its 75th anniversary season with Victor Herbert's Babes in Toyland on April 27, 2017 at 7pm at Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall (57th Street and 7th Avenue, New York, NY 10019).
