In 2016, the music world is celebrating 125 years since the birth of the great composer, and the first premiere of Prokofiev at the Yekaterinburg Opera and Ballet became the ballet "Romeo and Juliet".

Vyacheslav Samodurov, former Prime Minister of the Mariinsky Theatre, the National Ballet of the Netherlands and the British Covent Garden, leading ballet troupe of the Ekaterinburg Theatre in the 2011-2012 season, immediately began to compose for her ballets and actively improve the dancers in a variety of styles and techniques.

Samodurov took only a couple of years to achieve impressive results - he entrusted troupe surely ranks among the national leaders of the ballet, and he was twice the winner of the National Theatre Award "Golden Mask", maintaining the status of the best Russian choreographer until now.

The key to success is Samodurov and his ability to assemble a great team. The new formulation for the development of complex musical material conductor of the Bolshoi Theatre took Paul Klinichev, whose cooperation with Samodurov already noted two "Golden Mask". Scenographic solution proposed British designer Anthony Makilueyn, which the choreographer has chosen partners even at the start of his career, and without whose participation has since can not do any of his great performance.
