One stormy night, thunder booms, making a small girl cry in fear. To comfort her, the villagers tell her the story of a peasant girl who falls in love with a rich young man, and the island gods who will have their say.

"Once On This Island," a highly original and theatrical adaptation of the popular fairy tale "The Little Mermaid," garnered eight Tony nominations for its Broadway run, including Best Musical, Book and Score. This tropical treat, from the award-winning writer-composer team behind "Ragtime" and "Seussical," is a joyous story of life, love, faith, and hope – with an astounding score, captivating choreography and an irresistible Caribbean beat!
