It is with great pleasure that we announce Australian actress Teresa Palmer as a speaker at FEST - Training Ground 2014.
Teresa started her career very early, scoring a leading role with only 18 in the Australian indie drama "2:37" from Murali K. Thalluri. Her work was received with critical acclaim and she was nominated for best actress at the Australian Film Institute Awards. When the film premièred at the Cannes Film Festival, Teresa was discovered by legendary agent David Seltzer and soon became one of the most looked new names in Hollywood. First she starred in films such as "December Boys" opposite to Daniel Radcliffe and in "blockbuster" such as "I Am Number Four" and "The Sorcere's Aprrentice". In 2013, she scored her first leading role in the romantic zombie book adaptation "Warm Bodies". FEST - Pitching Forum and FEST - Industry Meetings
On the program you will also have FEST Pitching Forum In this space filmmakers will meet producers and financers, and each participant will have 4 minutes to pitch his project, and why it should be supported, produced and financed. The FEST Pitching Forum will have many new features in 2014. You will also have a workshop and a masterclass about pitching before the real pitching sessions, so you can prepare yourself the best. This year we will introduce the FEST - Industry meetings

Training Ground is all in one program, as participants will not only enjoy a six day deluxe training program, but also will be able to attend the screenings of FEST - New Directors | New Films Festival, as parallel activities, all of this having as a scenario the beautiful sea-coast city of Espinho, one of the most looked for sea-coast location in all of Portugal.
