Kent Skov's L.A. Connection Comedy Theatre (LAC) continues its popular celebration of the incoming new year, which has been sold out every year for the past 24 years, with two shows featuring an all-star troupe of improv players. The schedule for December 31 was announced today by founder Kent Skov. This will be the club's first New Year's Eve in the new Burbank location.

The Grove Theatre is proud to announce Elf The Musical Jr, starring Kylend Hetherington who starred in BILLY ELLIOT on Broadway and on the National Tour. Broadway musical is based on the cherished 2003 New Line Cinema hit starring Will Ferrell. Buddy, a young orphan, mistakenly crawls into Santa's bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole. The would-be elf is raised, unaware that he is actually a human, until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa's permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father and discover his true identity. Faced with the harsh realities that his father is on the naughty list and his half-brother doesn't even believe in Santa, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas.

Based on a true story, this one-act play written by and starring Groundlings' Annie Sertich puts a twist on the familiar one-woman show format. Not a typical show you'd find at The Groundlings, this exciting and different play about love and loss will take you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions asking yourself, 'Did this really happen?' and the answer is yes. As in usual Groundlings fashion, the show will definitely provide a lot of laughs. This show has been seen by sold out audiences during previous runs in Los Angeles and New York.
