HOW TO SUCCEED Goes on Hiatus July 7 & 8 for UK 'Harry Potter' Opening

HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING will go on a two day hiatus tomorrow, July 7 and Friday, July 8, to accommodate Daniel Radcliffe's previously scheduled Harry Potter promotional obligations in the UK. Potter premieres in Trafalger Square in London tomorrow, July 7. HOW TO SUCCEED will resume performances on Saturday, July 9 for the 8pm performance only as regularly scheduled. Warner Brothers bought out the Al Hirschfeld Theatre for these dates to get Radcliffe to London for the event.

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed 'Best of New York' by New York Magazine, and 'an invaluable New York institution' by The New York Post, continues its Summer 2011 season with the return engagement of NEIL BERG and his show 'Broadway And Berg: Broadway Show Stoppers and the Theater Songs of Neil Berg' from July 4 to July 16. Berg and friends will recreate well-known Broadway show stoppers along with songs from Mr. Berg's musicals of the past, present, and future (Off-Broadway's The Prince and the Pauper, the upcoming Grumpy Old Men, The Twelve, The Man Who Would Be King). The evening will feature performances by Rob Evan (Jekyll and Hyde, The Prince and the Pauper), Luba Mason (The Capeman, Chicago), Rita Harvey (Phantom of the Opera, Fiddler on the Roof), Lawrence Clayton (Les Miserables, Dreamgirls) and William Michals (South Pacific, Beauty & the Beast), as well nightly special guests. All shows are at the Loews Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).

According to Deasline.com, Evangeline Lilly and Barry Humphries will join previously announced Sir Ian McKellen and Cate Blanchett in 'The Hobbit.' Lord of the Rings director and Oscar winner Peter Jackson, who will direct the two-part film, wrote in a casting update:'Evangeline Lilly will be playing a new character-the Woodland Elf, Tauriel. Her name means 'daughter of Mirkwood' and, beyond that, we must leave you guessing!.' He added, 'I'm also highly excited that Barry Humphries will be portraying the Goblin King, in much the way Andy Serkis created Gollum.'

As announced on the Friday, June 17 edition of 'Live with Regis and Kelly,' this fall, Kara DioGuardi, Grammy nominated songwriter and star of 'American Idol' and Bravo's 'Platinum Hit', will make her Broadway stage debut as merry murderess Roxie Hart in the Tony Award-winning hit musical CHICAGO for an eight-week limited engagement, Monday, September 5 through Sunday, October 30, 2011 at the Ambassador Theatre.
