Fall and Winter 2011-2012 schedule of concerts, Music-Theater and Spoken Word Announced for Target Free Thursdays.

This fall, Kara DioGuardi, Grammy nominated songwriter and star of 'American Idol' and Bravo's 'Platinum Hit', will make her Broadway stage debut as merry murderess Roxie Hart in the Tony Award-winning hit musical CHICAGO for an eight-week limited engagement, Monday, September 5 through Sunday, October 30, 2011 at the Ambassador Theatre. ACA Galleries will present Shamanic Illuminations: The Art of Pablo Amaringo, Alex Grey and Mieshiel from September 15 through October 22, 2011. The New York International Fringe Festival will present HUSH The Musical at Le Poisson Rouge (158 Bleecker Street) on Saturday August 13, Tuesday August 16, Tuesday August 23, Wednesday August 24 and Thursday August 25.

The summer's most acclaimed new play, The Best of Enemies, by Mark St. Germain (author of Freud's Last Session), returns to Barrington Stage Company, the award-winning theatre in downtown Pittsfield, MA, under the leadership Artistic Director Julianne Boyd and Managing Director Tristan Wilson, for a run from October 5 through 16 at the BSC Mainstage, 30 Union Street, Pittsfield. Pine Box Theater returns from a three-year hiatus with the world premiere of A GIRL WITH SUN IN HER EYES by Chicago writer Joshua Rollins, directed by Matt Miller and featuring Pine Box company members Audrey Francis and Vince Teninty with Karen Aldridge, Sean Parris, Steve Pickering and Lucy Sandy.
