Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell will kick off on FXX this week with a guest lineup of comedy all-stars

Summer is on its way out, but the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center brings the celebrities in all year long! From hilarious comedians and storytellers to iconic musicians and singers, the WHBPAC's presents it 2013 Fall MainStage Season of Events.

Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell will kick off on FXX next week with a guest lineup of comedy all-stars on September 4th.

'Our audiences have diverse tastes when it comes to programming so we do our best to satisfy those tastes with a wide variety of events,' says Palace Theatre Executive Director, Michael E. Moran, Jr. 'Comedy, music, dance, family events - we have it all this season, and we will continue adding shows as opportunities arise.'

Her smart-witted stand up has sent her career in many different areas. Wanda kicks off the 87th season of the State Theatre on Saturday, September 21st at 8 PM.

This fall, COMEDY CENTRAL is looking for the best new stand-up talent in the country including the Bay Area by holding 'Up Next' A CC: Certified Talent Search through the network's Certified Clubs program. 'Up Next' A CC: Certified Talent Search will consist of comedians performing in preliminary local showcases hosted by Cobb's Comedy Club and 25 other participating Certified Clubs from September 3-23. The preliminary showcase for Cobb's Comedy Club in San Francisco will take place on Sunday, September 15, 7:30pm.

Vertical Entertainment previously announced that Susan Seidelman's The Hot Flashes would be available on DVD beginning today, Aug. 13, 2013.

This fall BET Networks unleashes a star studded lineup of original programming and specials that promises to speak to your mind, body, soul - and Tickle your funny bone starting this October.

Marking its 10th anniversary November 6 - 10, the New York Comedy Festival (NYCF), in association with COMEDY CENTRAL, today announced its 2013 line-up, featuring some of the comedy industry's biggest stars performing in New York City's most prestigious venues, including the Beacon Theatre, Carnegie Hall, the Theater at Madison Square Garden and Town Hall, to name a few.

Vertical Entertainment will be releasing THE HOT FLASHES on DVD on Aug. 13, 2013. The film stars Brooke Shields, Wanda Sykes, Virginia Madsen, Daryl Hannah, Camryn Manheim, Eric Roberts and directed by Susan Seidelman.

This year The New York Comedy Festival (NYCF), presented in association with COMEDY CENTRAL, marks its 10th anniversary Wednesday, November 6 through Sunday, November 10. The festival will once again bring laughs to all the boroughs in New York City, and adding several new venues. The 2013 festival line-up will be announced in August, at which time tickets will also go on sale. Additional shows will be added in the fall.

This morning it announced that Comedy Central's Key & Peele stars Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele will co-host the 29th Annual Television Critics Association Awards. The event will take place on Saturday, Aug. 3 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
