Disney Channel Orders 4th Season of PHINEAS AND FERB

Disney Channel has ordered a fourth season of Emmy Award-winning 'Phineas and Ferb,' TV's #1 animated series in Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14, and will have new episodes rolling out through 2014. Upcoming episodes include a musical featuring the one-hit wonder 'Phineas and the Ferb-tones,' commemoration of Platypus Day, and a winter vacation special featuring seasonal sports and a New Year's celebration.

Virtuoso pianist Lang Lang returns to Walt Disney Concert Hall, Sunday, November 6, at 7:30 p.m., in a recital featuring music by Bach, Schubert and Chopin. The performance is part of the Los Angeles Philharmonic's 2011/12 Colburn Celebrity Recitals, which feature some of the world's leading virtuosos.

Cameron Mathison ('All My Children,' 'Good Morning America') made his Broadway debut on Wednesday, November 2 in a cameo role in MARY POPPINS at the New Amsterdam Theatre. Mathison's performance will be shown as a part of a special 'Good Morning America' segment celebrating the 5th anniversary of MARY POPPINS on Broadway, airing Monday, November 7th at 7AM on ABC (schedule subject to change), in which he becomes the first non-cast member in the show's 7 year history to attempt Bert's 'proscenium walk.' Following the performance, Mathison, Steffanie Leigh (Mary Poppins), and Case Dillard (Bert at that evening's performance) were greeted backstage by Mathison's former 'All My Children' co-star, Susan Lucci. The return engagement of Disney's THE LION KING opens tonight, Friday, November 4 at 7:30pm at The Buell Theatre. This limited five-week run will conclude on Sunday, December 4, 2011. The performance schedule is listed below. Los Angeles Opera Music Director James Conlon returns to Walt Disney Concert Hall to lead the Los Angeles Philharmonic in three performances of music by Benjamin Britten, Sergei Prokofiev and Antonín Dvorák, Friday, November 4, at 11 a.m., Saturday, November 5, at 8 p.m., and Sunday, November 6, at 2 p.m. Brilliant 24-year-old pianist Yuja Wang, whose performance of Rachmaninoff's Third Piano Concerto at the Hollywood Bowl earlier this summer mesmerized the audience, plays Prokofiev's popular Third Piano Concerto in the program.

Academy Award winning director John Lasseter received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday, the same day that CARS 2 Blu-Ray/DVD was released. On hand to show their support for the director were Owen Wilson, Emily Mortimer, Brad Paisley, Bonnie Hunt, Cheech Marin, John Ratzenberger, Patton Oswalt, Randy Newman and Don Rickles.
