Earlier this month, The New York Pops marked its 32nd birthday with a grand gala evening celebrating the work of Music Honorees Kathleen Marshall and Rob Marshall and Corporate Honoree Carrie and Ted Pryor, Greenwich Harbor Partners. The event began with a concert at Carnegie Hall, featuring a spectacular lineup of guest artists under the baton of Music Director Steven Reineke. Noises Off, by Michael Frayn, is playing at Center for the Arts Theatre. Directed by Dan Schuster, the comedic farce Noises Off is the final production of the season.

If you asked me to pick a musical I loved based on nostalgia alone, it would be, without a doubt, Annie. Probably for the same reason most theatre kids will tell you; it was the very first musical I was ever in. I was in 6th grade, and I played Kathy. You probably don't know this character- that's because she doesn't actually exist. She was an addition to the script's gaggle of 6 little orphans (I believe our production had 12).

She's back where she belongs! 'Hello Dolly' starring Andrea McArdle is at The Media Theatre tonight, April 22 to May 24. Andrea McArdle returns to the award-winning professional music theatre venue after winning accolades as 'Mame' two years ago.
