Goode Productions will present the World Premiere of Greencard Wedding, an indie rock musical written by Jody Christopherson co-directed by Morgan Zipf-Meister, along with the World Premiere of AMP, a solo horror piece written and performed by Jody Christopherson and directed by Emma Rosa Went, running in rep at HERE (145 Avenue of the Americas, entrance on Dominick Street, one block south of Spring Street), November 29 -December 20.

The Poetry Project will host its first-ever gala in celebration of its 50th anniversary on Thursday, April 27, 2017. The gala will honor Anne Waldman for her radical and inspiring contributions to international contemporary poetry and activism, and for her past leadership of The Poetry Project. The evening will include performances by composer and performance artist Laurie Anderson, writer and vocalist LaTasha Diggs, and choreographer Yoshiko Chuma.

Witness Relocation's The Loon is an all new, evening length, knock-down-drag-out, dance/theatre show based in part on "Voices of the Loon" (an educational record released by the Audubon Society in 1980); the work of sociologist Erving Goffman; "At Home" - Bill Bryson's study of the history of domestic life; party games; and what happens when the festivities go very late into the night/next morning.

The Martin E. Segal Theatre Center presents World Voices: International Play Festival 2016. As part of the 2016 PEN World Voices Festival of International Literature, the Segal Center will showcase play readings by eight of the world's most respected dramatists. With each writer hailing from a different world region as classified by the United Nations, the International Play Festival generates a conversation on art, politics, dreams, war, and philosophy, meant to give American audiences a rich awareness of the greater global dialogue. All readings will be followed by discussion with the playwright.
