The Hollywood Reporter stated today that Martha Plimpton, currently starring in the Broadway revival of Pal Joey at Studio 54, will be part of the cast of the new Showtime pilot 'The End of Steve.'

Stockard Channing, star of the Roundabout Theatre Company's Broadway production of Pal Joey, is featured in the 'Eye' section of W Magazine (December Issue). Stockard Channing talks to W writer Diane Solway about her role in this highly anticipated revival that has not been seen on Broadway in over 30 years. An original portrait of Channing is included. Roundabout Theatre Company's (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) limited engagement of A Man for All Seasons will play its final performance on Sunday, December 14th at 2:00 PM. This revival of Robert Bolt's classic A Man for All Seasons stars Frank Langella as 'Sir Thomas More,' and is directed by Doug Hughes at the American Airlines Theatre (227 West 42nd St).

The invitation only award presentation and cocktail reception took place on Monday, December 1, 2008 at The American Airlines Theatre's Penthouse Lobby (227 West 42nd Street).

Alfred Hitchcock's THE 39 STEPS starts its second year on Broadway in a new home and with a new Hannay. Sean Mahon will join the Tony Award-winning quick-change comedy as Richard Hannay on Wednesday, January 21, when the production moves to the Helen Hayes Theatre (240 West 44th Street). Sam Robards will play his final performance as Richard Hannay on January 4 at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street).

Understudy Matthew Risch has taken over the title role of Joey Evans in PAL JOEY for an injured Christian Hoff. Hoff has withdrawn from the Broadway musical due to his injury. Risch in a classic theatrical twist of fate now will head the Roundabout revival. The official press opening night is delaying one week later than originally planned to December 18th to allow for this sudden cast change.

Understudy Matthew Risch has stepped into the title role of Joey Evans in PAL JOEY while an injured Christian Hoff rests. Hoff injured his foot Friday evening and the production cancelled the Saturday Matinee on November 22nd. Risch will continue in the role for tonight's special Monday night performance.

The production features a new adaptation by Christopher Shinn and will be directed by Ian Rickson.
