Ugly Sweater Productions presents the Second Annual UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATER CABARET on Monday, December 16th at 9:30 pm at The Duplex. A benefit for the 25th Annual New York Cares Coat Drive, the cabaret will be hosted by Vanessa Hidary, aka 'The Hebrew Mamita', and will feature Bobby Cronin, Catherine Porter, Frank Pizzaro, Wayne Miller and Cheo Bourne of pop vocal group The Platters, Erik Sisco, Fiona Pui Shan Hui, Brett Dameron, Maria Maloney and Alison Rose Munn. Kimberly Faith Hickman directs, with musical direction by William Demaniow.

Anderson & Petty co-produced the album with Dennis Michael Keefe of the record label Great White Wax. There's a new Open Mic Night in town, and it's quite the place to be! Kenneth Gartman hosts the monthly Open Mic Night on the 3rd Saturday of every month at Unity Center in Norwalk, CT. The next concert is set for Saturday, December 21 from 7 to 9 p.m. $10 cover. The Unity Center is located at 3 Main Street, 2nd Floor, Norwalk, Conn.

Joyce Laoagan and Jeremy Rafal, both professional music directors and actors presents, 'Valentine's Day in December' - A Theatrical CabaretShow at The legendary Duplex Cabaret Theater on December 21, 2013 from 7-8 PM.

Broadway Matilda's, Sophia Gennusa, Oona Laurence, Bailey Ryon, and Milly Shapiro as well as Kerry Ingram (West End Matilda), Carly Paige Baron (Mary Poppins), Colin Critchley (Kinky Boots, Waiting For Godot), Emma Howard (Matilda), Sawyer Nunes (Matilda), Kara Oates (Mary Poppins, Billy Elliot), Julianna Rigoglioso (Mary Poppins, Far From Heaven), Abigail Shapiro (How the Grinch Stole Christmas), Hayden Signoretti (Mary Poppins, Richard III), took part in in Cabaret for a Cause on November 25th. The event was held at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre to raise money for Shifting Shakespeare.

These dates are Friday December 6th at 7:00p and Saturday December 21st at 4:00p at The Metropolitan Room . The musical comedy about nightclub singers and night-time musical fantasies - Humpty Dumpty Cracks Up: The Nightmare of Cabaret --- will be performed in Manhattan on November 23, 24, and 25. The cast includes cabaret singers themselves in prominent and cameo roles, along with singer-actors who are kids, teens and adults (senior citizens among them). In the year marking her triumphant nightclub return, not resting her laurels or her tuffet, singer KAREN WYMAN is featured as Little Miss Muffet, writer of self-help books for arachnophobes and bullied teens. Cabaret-goers will find other favorites in the cast such as TERESA FISCHER as the Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe. Rotating guests in cameo and featured roles include such folks as RICKY RITZEL at the first performance, The Duplex's THOMAS HONECK at the middle performance, and CHRISTINE LAVIN on the Monday night. As the legendary Little Bo Peep, TANYA MOBERLY sheepishly appears at the first and third performances. The plot concerns a first-time cabaret performer (WENDY RUSSELL), her singer pal (BRENDA BERGMAN) and strange dreams about nursery rhyme characters putting on cabaret acts.
