Broadway actors and crew members have joined with the Official NYC/Downstate Chapter of the Women's March on Washington to show their solidarity with those marching this Saturday, January 21st, in Washington D.C. and across the country. Scroll down to see some of their reasons for marching!

Disney's Aladdin, the hit Broadway musical, is pleased to announce that Major Attaway, current Genie standby in the Broadway company, will take over the role full-time beginning Tuesday, February 21, 2017.

Several weeks ago, in my review of Baldwin Wallace University's production of WEST SIDE STORY I stated, 'BWU's Music Theater program is nationally recognized for its quality, as evidenced by the number of its graduates who have light up the Broadway theater scene and touring productions. Of those in the WEST SIDE STORY cast I stated: 'Broadway bound? Colton Ryan, though not the tall macho leading man type, should find a place on the Great White Way in roles for the young, clean scrubbed type who have big voices.'

Today, BWW participated in a media conference call with HAIRSPRAY composer/co-lyricist Marc Shaiman and co-lyricist Scott Wittman who answered questions and shared the latest developments on NBC's highly anticipated broadcast of HAIRSPRAY LIVE!

Just last night, the American Theatre Wing honored legendary Tony Award-winning actress Cicely Tyson at its annual gala at The Plaza Hotel (Fifth Avenue at Central Park South). Tony Award winners Cynthia Erivo and Adriane Lenox, as well as Tony Award nominees Danielle Brooks and Saycon Sengbloh performed for the special night.

The full lineup is set for the twelfth installment of the acclaimed Broadway Sings concert series, Broadway Sings The Beatles. Cast members from Broadway shows including Hamilton, Waitress, The Color Purple, and Wicked will sing completely new arrangements of the legendary band's greatest hits, accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra playing original orchestrations.

Broadway Sessions celebrated Baldwin Wallace University on Thursday night April 14th. 2016 grads joined forces with celebrated alums for a magical night of story and song and shenanigans. BW alums included Aladdin star Steel Burkhardt, Wicked alum Libby Srvais, Kinky Boots' Kyle Post and Broadway star turned television superhero Ciara Renee (Big Fish, Pippin, Hunchback of Notre Dame, CW' Legends of Tomorrow). The '16 grads made a splash with performances from high art to high camp and back again.

Tonight, April 14th, BROADWAY SESSIONS welcomes the '16 graduating class from Baldwin Wallace University, as well as special guest BW alumni.

Paper Mill Playhouse's spring musical, PUMP BOYS AND DINETTES, begins tonight, featuring James Barry (Jim),Gabe Bowling (Jackson), Julie Foldesi (Prudie), Jason Ostrowski (L.M.), Alysha Umphress (Rhetta) and Sam Weber(Eddie). PUMP BOYS AND DINETTES is conceived and written by John Foley, Mark Hardwick, Debra Monk, Cass Morgan, John Schimmel and Jim Wann. PUMP BOYS AND DINETTES is directed by John Foley with choreography by JoAnn M. Hunter. PUMP BOYS AND DINETTES will run eight times a week at the Millburn, New Jersey, theater through May 1, 2016.
