Hello, Dolly! will run from June 28 - September 8 at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, Conn. Official Press Opening will be July 17, 2013.Leading the cast in the role of Dolly Levi will be cabaret diva Klea Blackhurst. Ms. Blackhurst is best known for her award-winning tribute to Ethel Merman, Everything the Traffic Will Allow, which she has performed in venues across the U.S. and in London. She was most recently seen in Happy Huntingat The York Theatre. She also created the role of Miss Lemon in the new musical The Nutty Professor, which premiered this past summer in Nashville. Rated P for Parenthood, a new musical comedy in its Off-Broadway debut now on stage upstairs at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street), welcomed its first marriage proposal following the evening performance on Wednesday, March 7th. Long Island resident David Troy joined the cast following the curtain call to call his girlfriend, Dellene Kornitsky on stage. As the audience applauded, Mr. Troy popped the question. Ms Kornitsky answered, "Of course!"

Midtown Direct Rep will hold a fundraising event to benefit the company during the opening week of Rated P for Parenthood, it was announced today. The Special MDR Off-Broadway fundraiser ticket will include prime orchestra seats to the Friday, March 20th 8:00 p.m. performance, exclusive talk back with the cast and the creators of Rated P, and a champagne after-party coach ride back to SOPAC with members of the cast, Ms. Rustin, Mr. Dobrish and producers who all call South Orange/Maplewood home.
