North Coast Repertory Theatre presents THE ODD COUPLE by Neil Simon, directed by Andrew Barnicle. The show runs now through May 12, 2013, after a one-week extension!

MATILDA THE MUSICAL will make its first national TV appearance tomorrow Thursday May 2 on "Good Morning America" between 8:30 - 9 AM on ABC (Channel 7 in New York). See the cast perform the galvanizing "Revolting Children" and iconic "Naughty." MATILDA THE MUSICAL opened to rapturous reviews last month and this week received 12 Tony Award nominations including one for Best Musical.

People all over the world will be able to join the Royal Shakespeare Company and Google live in Stratford-upon-Avon and online, as they present a one-off digital theatre project, Midsummer Night's Dreaming. This creative experiment will take place over Midsummer weekend, 21 -24 June 2013 and will explore different ways to make and watch theatre.

59E59 Theaters will welcome the US premiere of THE GIRL I LEFT BEHIND ME, written by Neil Bartlett and Jessica Walker, and directed by Mr. Bartlett to Brits Off Broadway. THE GIRL I LEFT BEHIND ME begins performances tonight, April 30 for a limited engagement through Sunday, May 19.

This year's Edwin Booth Award will be presented to the legendary theatre director and producer Woodie King, Jr., founding director of the pioneering African-American theatrical production and training institution New Federal Theatre. The New Federal Theater integrates minorities and women into the mainstream of the profession through artistic training and play production. Mr. King will be present to receive the award. The event takes place May 6th at the Martin E. Segal Theatre Center (MESTC) of The Graduate Center of City University of NY.

The Royal Shakespeare Company's AS YOU LIKE IT opened at Stratford's Royal Shakespeare Theatre on 24 April 2013. Featuring music from the English folk musician Laura Marling, and directed by Maria Aberg, the play follows Rosalind and Orlando, who are banished by the French court and flee to the Forest of Arden; finding romance, mischief and anarchy. As You Like It runs in rep until 28 September 2013.

The Royal Shakespeare Company's world premiere production of Roald Dahl's Matilda the Musical has captured the imagination of young and old alike and continues to play to packed houses at London's Cambridge Theatre. It swept the board at last year's Laurence Olivier Awards, winning a record-breaking seven awards.

The Atlanta Shakespeare Company at The New American Shakespeare Tavern presents Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead in repertory with Hamlet. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, directed by Jeff McKerley will run May 25, 26, 31 & June 2, 6, 8, 14, 16, 20, 22, 2013.

The Atlanta Shakespeare Company at The New American Shakespeare Tavern presents Hamlet in repertory with Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. Hamlet, directed by Heidi Cline-McKerley, will run May 4-19 and May 30, June 1, 7, 9, 13, 15, 21, 23, 2013.

Cornelia Street Cafe presents Shakespeare: A Two-Part Invention featuring Robin Hirsch and John Hudson today, April 28th at 6pm.

This April, the North Carolina Shakespeare Festival will again present the unique concert and theatrical performance Such Sweet Thunder, a jazz suite composed by Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn inspired by works by Shakespeare.

Tony Award-winning actor Brent Carver returns to Broadway this August, to play Friar Laurence in the new Broadway production of Shakespeare's timeless love story ROMEO AND JULIET, starring international film star Orlando Bloom and Tony Award nominee Condola Rashad as Shakespeare's titular star-crossed lovers. Tony Award winner Chuck Cooper also joins the cast, taking on the role of Lord Capulet, in place of the previously announced Joe Morton, who is unable to continue with the production due to scheduling conflicts with his recurring role on a television series.
