Midwest New Musicals continues Words and Music, its concert reading series of original musicals, with MORALITY PLAY by Janet Burroway and Matthew M. Kiedrowski on Sunday February 19, at 7:00 PM at the Athenaeum Theatre at 2936 North Southport Avenue, Chicago, and on Monday, February 20, at 7:30 P.M. at the Light Opera Works Second Stage at 1420 Maple (at Lake) in Evanston.
Performance Network Hosts WHAT CORBIN KNEW, 2/28-3/14

When Performance Network Theatre decided to engage in two co-productions for their 30th Anniversary season, an opportunity arose to revive their second stage offerings. With both "God of Carnage" and the upcoming "Dead Man's Shoes" being rehearsed off-site, Performance Network's black box rehearsal hall was wide open for use by a neighboring company, The Penny Seats, and the first show of their second season, Jeffrey Hatcher's "What Corbin Knew." Performances will begin Feb 28 and run through March 14, 2012 at Performance Network.

Keen Artistic Director Carl Forsman directs. Performances now through April 22nd, with Opening Night set for Tuesday, March 6th (7pm).

I CAN'T WAIT: THE SONGS OF PATRICK DWYER, a new revue of songs by the theatre/cabaret songwriter, will be presented at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre, 61 Christopher Street at 7th Avenue, on Saturday February 25 at 4:30pm and Monday February 27 at 7pm.
The hour-long show will feature the vocal talents of Teal Wicks, Robb Sapp and Tally Sessions.
