Performance Network Hosts WHAT CORBIN KNEW, 2/28-3/14

When Performance Network Theatre decided to engage in two co-productions for their 30th Anniversary season, an opportunity arose to revive their second stage offerings. With both "God of Carnage" and the upcoming "Dead Man's Shoes" being rehearsed off-site, Performance Network's black box rehearsal hall was wide open for use by a neighboring company, The Penny Seats, and the first show of their second season, Jeffrey Hatcher's "What Corbin Knew." Performances will begin Feb 28 and run through March 14, 2012 at Performance Network.

Due to a last-minute scheduling-conflict with lead actor Norbert Leo Butz, Second Stage Theatre's one-week extension of their critically-acclaimed production of How I Learned to Drive has been canceled. The limited engagement will now conclude on Sunday, March 11 as originally scheduled. Written by Paula Vogel and directed by Kate Whoriskey, the production features Mr. Butz and Elizabeth Reaser and is playing at Second Stage's Tony Kiser Theatre (305 West 43rd Street). I CAN'T WAIT: THE SONGS OF PATRICK DWYER, a new revue of songs by the theatre/cabaret songwriter, will be presented at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre, 61 Christopher Street at 7th Avenue, on Saturday February 25 at 4:30pm and Monday February 27 at 7pm.
The hour-long show will feature the vocal talents of Teal Wicks, Robb Sapp and Tally Sessions.

Profiles Theatre announces the extension of their hit Midwest premiere of Bachelorette by Leslye Headland, directed by Profiles Co-Artistic Director Darrell W. Cox. All cast members are continuing in their roles including ensemble member Eric Burgher and guest artists Hillary Marren, Linda Augusta Orr, Rakisha Pollard, Amanda Powell and Adam Soule. The production has been selling out since its opening on February 1, 2012 and has now been extended an additional seven weeks, through April 29, 2012, at Profiles Theatre, 4147 N. Broadway in Chicago.
