The Theatre World Awards Board of Directors, Dale Badway, President, have announced, today, the 74th Annual Theatre World Awards Ceremony will take place at Circle in the Square. Theatre World Award Alum Victor Garber (Hello, Dolly!) will receive the 6th Annual John Willis Award for Lifetime Achievement In The Theatre, celebrating his 46th year on the Broadway stage.

The Drama Book Shop will host celebrate the launch of Theatre World's 69th Volume - the only record of the American theatre season still in print. A book launch, signing, and panel discussion with the editors on 'Theatre Print Media in the Age of the Internet' will be held at the Tony Award winning Book Shop on Friday, December 4, 2015, from 5-7p.m. It is free and open to the public.

The by-invitation-only ceremony will present Theatre World Awards to 12 actors for their Outstanding Broadway or Off-Broadway Debut Performances during the 2011-2012 theatrical season. The event also includes presentation of the 4th Annual Dorothy Loudon Award for Excellence. This year The Theatre World Awards will have ASL interpretation.

The musical is the company's first commission and has book/lyrics by Sammy Buck (Like You Like It, Stinky Kids, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus) and music/lyrics by Brandon James Gwinn (Matchmaker, Matchmaker - I'm Ready to Settle). The presentation is made possible in part by the National Alliance for Musical Theater's Writers' Residency Grant.
