From the hauntingly beautiful first three notes of 'Bali Hai' to the romance of 'Some Enchanted Evening,' it's no surprise that this Rodgers & Hammerstein favorite is one of the greatest Broadway musicals of all time.

Tony and Olivier Award-winner John Caird (Les Misérables and Nicholas Nickleby), West End rising star Sam Caird, and Tony nominee Paul Gordon (Jane Eyre) recently arrived in Ventura to begin rehearsals for a new holiday musical entitled LITTLE MISS SCROOGE, which will be presented as a limited-run staged concert for Rubicon Theatre subscribers, December 12 through 23, 2012. (The fully staged World Premiere will be produced by Rubicon in December of 2013.) BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast onstage in the photos below!

"Let me prove worthy of you love. Tell me how I can earn your love, set me free. How can I turn your love to me?" These are some of the most haunting lyrics in Stephen Sondheim's ASSASSINS, now in production in the Quadracci Powerhouse at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater. These lyrics are sung by John Hinckley, Jr. with Lynette 'Squeaky' Fromme in their duet of "Unworthy of Your Love".

Assassins will be directed at The Milwaukee Rep by Artistic Director Mark Clements. This will be the third musical he has directed since he began his tenure at The Rep following last season's hit Next to Normal and Cabaret from his first season. With the selection of Assassins for the 2012/13 Season, Milwaukee Repertory Theater shows its commitment to continuing to produce full-scale musicals as part of its repertoire. Clements has assembled a top-notch cast for this production featuring many performers with extensive Broadway credits. Assassins runs in the Quadracci Powerhouse from tonight, September 4 - October 7, and opens on Friday, September 7.

According to Deadline.com, actress Jamie-Lynn Sigler has joined the cast of Jimmy Fallon's NBC pilot, DILF. The show will tell the story of 'three men in their 30s who are parents, but haven't quite grown up themselves. Sigler will play the wife of one of the guys.'
