2014 is upon us, which means that it's time to look back on all of the highs and lows that this past theatre season has brought. BroadwayWorld is wrapping up the year by tributing our favorite moments of 2013, and in this series, we're highlighting 13 of our favorite musical moments on stage in just 30 seconds. Broadway headliner and featured star of Disney's smash hit animated film musical FROZEN, Santino Fontana, reveals his initial audition song for the film as part of a new clip recently leaked.

Billboard reports that Disney's FROZEN soundtrack has risen from No. 11 to No. 10 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album is the 10th soundtrack from an animated feature to break into the top 10, and the first since CARS in 2006.

Transport Group, the Drama Desk and OBIE award-winning theatre company, presented 2013 Gimme A Break!, honoring producer Beth Williams, last night at the Asia Society and Museum, 725 Park Avenue at 70th Street. Performers included Carolee Carmelo (Parade, Falsettos), Santino Fontana (Cinderella, Billy Elliot), Jayne Houdyshell (Romeo & Juliet, Follies), Rachel Bay Jones (Pippin, Hello Again), Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio (The Winslow Boy, Man of La Mancha), and Jessie Mueller (On a Clear Day, Beautiful). The producers of Cinderella announced today that television and film star Fran Drescher will make her Broadway debut as Cinderella's stepmother Madame, beginning performances on February 4th for a 10-week run through April 13 at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). Ms. Drescher takes over the role created by Harriet Harris, who concludes her acclaimed year-long run in the musical to return to her home in California.

Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Producing Artistic Director Andre Bishop) has announced that actors Santino Fontana and Tony Shalhoub will both be featured as the legendary writer/director Moss Hart at different stages of his life in its upcoming production of ACT ONE, a play written and directed by James Lapine from the autobiography by Moss Hart. The production, which will also feature a third actor who will play Mr. Hart as a young boy, is scheduled to begin previews Thursday, March 20 and open onThursday, April 17 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street).

Disney's latest animated adventure, FROZEN, lit up the weekend box office during its second outing, taking the top spot with $31.6 million, according to Deadline.

Nominations for the 41st Annie Awards have been announced. Topping the list with 10 nominations each are Disney's Frozen and Monster's University.

According to Boxofficemojo.com, Lionsgate's The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Disney's Frozen broke a slew of box office records over the Thanksgiving Weekend and together, earned $200 million for the five-day time period.

CATCHING FIRE, at No. 1, took in $74.5 million for the weekend. FROZEN, in second place, grossed just over $66.7 million. 'FIRE' set the new standard for the highest Thanksgiving weekend gross, while FROZEN shattered the record for highest Thanksgiving debut weekend gross.

Lionsgate's THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE and Disney's FROZEN might be elemental opposites, but the pair of pics is pacing to break the five-day Thanksgiving holiday record originally set by Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone at $82 million.

The cast of A&E's DUCK DYNASTY is in NYC to appear in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade tomorrow, and while they are in town, they stopped by Cinderella on Broadway. Over 40 members from the hit TV show met Cinderella (Laura Osnes), Prince Topher (Santino Fontana) and the magical glass slippers on the Broadway stage directly following last night's performance.
