Alley Theatre Artistic Director Gregory Boyd announces the cast and creative team for the Alley Theatre's production of the Conor McPherson's THE SEAFARER. The Seafarer, by Conor McPherson and directed by Gregory Boyd, begins previews Friday April 6, opens Wednesday April 11 and runs through Sunday, April 29, 2012 on the Hubbard Stage. Tickets start at $25 and are available for purchase at www.alleytheatre.org, at the Alley Theatre Box Office, 615 Texas Avenue, or by calling 713.220.5700. Groups of 10 or more can receive special concierge services and select discounts by calling 713.220.5700 and asking for the group sales department.

New City Theater's production of HAPPY DAYS, Samuel Beckett's fourth full length play and his first play with a female protagonist, runs now run through May 5th @ 8pm. The actual performance dates will be April 12-14, 19-21, 26-28 & May 3-5 at New City Theater, 1404 18th Ave (just north of Union).

The Abreact presents Samuel Beckett's Endgame. Originally published in 1957, "Endgame" is considered one of Samuel Beckett's most important works. In a tiny house by the sea with nothing left outside - no sea, no sun, no clouds - live the mutually dependent protagonists Hamm, an aged blind master who cannot stand, and Clov, his servant who cannot sit. Their days playing out like the end of a chess match, they fight, flatter, thrust and parry, Clov always trying to withdraw from the game, while Hamm insists on finishing the matter once and for all.

Nigel Redden, Director of Lincoln Center Festival, today announced the Festival's line-up, which runs from July 5 through August 5, 2012. Single tickets go on sale on April 2. Theater offerings include Mikhail Baryshnikov in Dmitry Krymov's staging of a new play, In Paris, as well as Sydney Theatre Company's acclaimed production of Uncle Vanya directed by Tamas Ascher and adapted by Andrew Upton. Mikhail Baryshnikov to Star in Lincoln Center's IN PARIS this Summer

The multi-faceted Mikhail Baryshnikov, who famously left the Soviet Union in 1974, returns to the theater to perform for the first time in his mother tongue in the Dmitry Krymov Laboratory's production of a haunting new play, In Paris, as part of the Lincoln Centre Festival this Summer.
Conor Lovett to Lead TITLE AND DEED at Signature Theatre

Signature Theatre today announced that Conor Lovett will star in TITLE AND DEED, a new play by Will Eno and directed by Judy Hegarty Lovett. The production runs May 8 - June 3, 2012 with a May 20 opening night in The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at the Company's new home The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between Dyer and 10th Avenues). The production is presented in association with Gare St Lazare Players Ireland.
