St. Ann's Warehouse continues inaugural season in its new theater on the waterfront in Brooklyn Bridge Park with the NYC premiere of the A.R.T.'s NICE FISH, conceived, written and adapted by Mark Rylance and Louis Jenkins, directed by Claire van Kampen, and starring Rylance. The production will run for six weeks, now through March 27, in the Joseph S. and Diane H. Steinberg Theater. Let's see what the critics had to say...

Stars Come Together to Save Connecticut's White Barn Theatre

The Hollywood and Broadway theater community have come together to save the late Lucille Lortel, Queen of Off-Broadway's White Barn Theater in Norwalk, Connecticut. A recent New York Times article has rallied the theatrical community to voice their concern and support for the historic theater.

Las Vegas Philharmonic to Perform 'Cabrera Conducts Mozart,' 3/5

The Las Vegas Philharmonic performs Cabrera Conducts Mozart on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. in Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center.  The performance will open with Philip Glass's Company for String Orchestra followed by Mozart's Symphony No. 38 in D Major and will conclude with Brahms's Violin Concerto in D Major featuring the Philharmonic's own concertmaster, De Ann Letourneau.  Music Director Donato Cabrera and De Ann Letourneau will present the Classical Conversation at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday in Reynolds Hall for patrons interested in learning more about the music and history behind the works being performed that weekend.

A group of people are waiting...the announcer, diligently awaits the Leader and excitedly lauds his most mundane actions. The Leader finally arrives and he is not what they expect him to be. Through the use of character The Leader highlights the absurdist and existential themes of non-personalization and loss of identity.

The University of the Arts' Ira Brind School of Theater Arts announces the 2016 lineup for Polyphone, a "festival of the emerging musical" on the UArts campus in Philadelphia.  Running March 20-27, the 2016 the Polyphone festival produces staged concerts of new musicals and re-imagined canonical works offering professional composers, librettists and directors an opportunity to develop their work among the rich creative community of the Brind School at UArts.  The festival will program five musicals, including both classical and new works, with three performances each.

London Classic Theatre to Launch New Tour of Harold Pinter's THE BIRTHDAY PARTY

Following successful tours of Alan Ayckbourn's Absent Friends and Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot in 2015, today London Classic Theatre Artistic Director Michael Cabot announces a new production of Harold Pinter's The Birthday Party. Cabot directs a cast including Jonathan Ashley (Goldberg), Gareth Bennett-Ryan (Stanley), Cheryl Kennedy (Meg), Ged McKenna (Petey), Declan Rodgers (McCann) and Imogen Wilde (Lulu). The production tours to 37 venues around the UK this spring/summer, starting at Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham on 17 February.
