Celebrating 20 years since Heather Headley's Broadway debut in Disney's landmark musical The Lion King, the 10th annual Broadway Dreams Supper, supporting the performing arts education not-for-profit Broadway Dreams, treated guests to cocktails, a formal dinner, and tribute performances from some of the today's most celebrated performers at The Plaza (58th Street and Fifth Avenue). On Wednesday, Hershey Entertainment announced that it will be joining forces with Emmy Award-winning NYC based entertainment firm RWS and Associates to create its 2014 holiday stage productions at both the Hershey Lodge and at the Music Box Theatre as part of Hersheypark Christmas Candylane.

Emmy® Award-winning NYC based entertainment firm RWS and Associates is seeking singers, dancers, actors, musicians, stunt performers and specialty acts for quality live performances at top resorts, theme parks, cruise ships and corporate events internationally. Auditions for both Equity and non-Equity performers will be held throughout the year in cities across the country, in London and via Skype. The 2014 RWS Audition Tour will kick off on Monday, January 13, 2014 in New York City.

On Wednesday, May 1 western Pennsylvania celebrated high school musical theatre with the 17th annual Night of the Stars showcase at the Palace Theatre in Greensburg. Founded by John Noble, students from schools across the region presented highlights from their spring musicals at the highly anticipated event attended by more than 1,400 students and families. Each school received a cash award for their participation and two students received scholarships.

On October 19th several of Broadway's greatest stars will be sharing their talents in the name of supporting Cancer research and patient care at a special benefit produced by EMMY® Award-Winning RWS and Associates Entertainment, Inc. (Ryan Stana, Executive Producer). Tony Award Winners Christine Ebersole and Brian Stokes Mitchell will be performing songs from Broadway hits they starred in such as 42nd Street, Ragtime, and Man of La Mancha at the 2011 Hillman Cancer Center Gala. Veteran Broadway actress and Tony Award winner Michele Pawk will lead the evening as the Mistess of Ceremonies.
