The Watermill Theatre's Artistic Director, Paul Hart, announces his spring 2018 season which includes an award-winning new musical, the first major revival of a modern classic, a new Shakespeare production from The Watermill Ensemble and three premieres.

Westport Country Playhouse will host a Directors' Forum featuring directors Jack O'Brien, three-time Tony Award winner and former artistic director of The Old Globe; Oskar Eustis, artistic director of The Public Theater and Shakespeare in the Park; and Evan Yionoulis, Obie Award winner and professor at Yale School of Drama, on Sunday, November 12, at 5:45 p.m., following the 3 p.m. performance of Shakespeare's 'Romeo and Juliet.'

Bag&Baggage's world premiere production of ROMEO & JULIET (LAYLA & MAJNUN) is a mashup of Shakespeare's classic and a Persian tale of doomed young lovers, written centuries earlier by Nizami Ganjavi (and which may very well have served as Shakespeare's inspiration).
