EWonline.com reports that ABC has already pulled the plug on its new comedy WORK IT after airing only two episodes. The cross-dressing sitcom had recently created a stir with The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) and the Human Rights Campaign.

WORK IT is a new comedy series coming to ABC on January 3, 2012. From 'Friends' producers Andrew Reich & Ted Cohen WORK IT is a high-concept comedy about two unrepentant guy's guys who, unable to find work, dress as women to get jobs. Not only do they pull it off, but they just might learn to be better men in the process.

For the victim's close friend, Lieutenant Mason, and the other stunned and enraged detectives, this crime is very personal as they cast a wide net to investigate anyone who could have had a motive. Suspects range from a criminal Williams had once put away to a former boyfriend who may have been stalking her. Closely guarded secrets start to emerge, including Williams' pact with a well-known reporter to build a case against a prominent figure with whom Fitch has tangled in the past.
